RossJuliaRoss wins prestigious green award

Australia’s leading recruitment firm, RossJuliaRoss has just been awarded the inaugural RCSA CSR award designed to acknowledge and celebrate achievements for corporate social responsibility in the on-hire, recruitment and workforce solutions sector in Australia and New Zealand at an awards ceremony held at the Langham Hotel Melbourne.

From hundreds of entries, RossJuliaRoss walked away with the RCSA CSR Best Development Initiative by a Large Recruitment Firm Award due to their outstanding environmental sustainability program.

Managing Director Julia Ross said, “It is a real honour to receive this award from the RCSA, which recognises the commitment of our teams around the world to operating sustainably. We’re extremely proud of the green programs we have put in place over many years. We are keen to encourage all industry participants to strive for similar initiatives and take a look at achieving Green Accreditation.”

CEO of RCSA Australia and New Zealand Julie Mills said, ”RossJuliaRoss received their award for going beyond money-saving requirements such as turning off lights and paperless bills."

“Their nomination showed that they are developing a culture that includes investing in new equipment, an ongoing program to investigate new opportunities, and encouraging staff to participate through promotions such as carpooling and walk to work,” she concluded.
